World Dance Showcase Competition

This year, for the first time, Portal a Tango Dance Entertainment is pleased to partner with the Langley International Festival to present the 2009 World Dance Showcase Competition.

This celebration of our multicultural community will take you on a dance journey around the world -- where you are the judge. The winner will be determined by the audience's response and will receive a cash prize. Cheer on your favourite or discover a new favourite.

In addition, Portal a Tango will offer a free one-hour Argentine Tango dance lesson before the showcase begins. No experience necessary and no partner required. Get in the dance spirit and experience a taste of Argentina.

Join us at this community event that showcases multicultural music and dance -- where you are the judge. Make some noise and have fun -- contestants will be judged by how loudly you cheer. The winner gets a cash prize.
